My elk hunting buddy Ric and I travel to Wyoming to meet up with our friends to spend 12 days, and over eight miles back in the mountains to elk hunt. We love this time of the year in September when the bulls are bugling and the Aspen trees are whispering! I take a beautiful 7X7 bull elk with my bow on the very first morning of the hunt! Sleeping in a tent with no heat and 27 degree nights, rain, snow, and some high mountains to climb! Elk hunting is not for the faint at heart! It is hard work.
