Age Is Only A Number - Part 1
Age is only a number. Like it or not, we begin to age the moment we're born. However, given that our bodies are built to live productive and vital lives, well past the age of 100, 110, 115, this should not be an issue. As a population we are living longer, slightly. In the last hundred years, if you correct for births, deaths - let's say, when children died very early in life - we have only extended the average lifespan in 100 years by 3 years and 7 months. With all of our technology, with all of our knowledge, how come we're only living 3.7 years longer? This program will explore that.
