This is the 7th of 27 TV show episodes to teach kids (about 5th grade and up) programming using Scratch 2. This episode introduces: 1) Numeric Expressions, and 2) the Mouse Down and Key Pressed Conditional Blocks. Numeric values are numbers: 1, 3.14, 1,000,000, -40 and -273.15. Numeric values are introduced, including converting between degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit. Also, some simple, helpful Scratch functions are introduced including ones to round and truncate values. Finally the Mouse Down and Key Pressed Conditional Blocks are introduced with four examples including an example that draws lines on the stage.
